It was Ricardo's birthday and I could not have been more excited.  Upon arrival there was a cake for him and everybody sang happy birthday.  I could tell by the huge smile on his face that he appreciated all the love he was getting, but he did not realize that the best was yet to come.  Having signed a card from all the Patrick Hall kids and with a surprise lunch to Servo, I was hoping to make Ricardo's smile a little wider.  The day went great and when we finished our work earlier that usual, we decided to walk to Servo.  Although it was a cold day, I was willing to weather the storm for Ricardo.  Our lunch consisted of pizza and french fries.  We stayed and talked about everything and anything, from his favorites sports team to his average day's walk to school.  Upon arrival back at El Centro, Ricardo was greeted with a pumpkin to carve.  I was so happy for Ricardo that he could celebrate his birthday while doing other fun activities, making the day even more memorable.
